Tequila 1921 was born in the year of 1996 with the aim of producing Tequila and Tequila Cream 100% agave of Ultra Premium quality, and thus, carrying out part of the Mexican culture to the world through its products.

Our tequilas are produced in Arandas, which belongs to the Jalisco Highlands, the birthplace of the best Agave Tequilana Weber (blue variety), which allows us to bring out the best of this delicious plant and print its flavor in each note of our tequilas.

1921 Tequila and 1921 Cream received several international awards due to their high quality, great flavor, and magnificent presentation.

Tasting Notes: 

Color: Golden honey-colored tequila that evokes the brightness of the most precious metal, its luminous transparency makes the tears slide elegantly.

Aroma: Sweet and comforting plum and vanilla aroma combined with a hint of slightly toasted oak from the barrel.

Gran Coramino is the culmination of two personal journeys. Kevin Hart is known for his work ethic and focus on excellence. He spent years looking for the perfect partner to create a high-quality tequila. Juan Domingo Beckmann is an 11th-generation tequila maker with a family that not only created the tequila category, but also the Añejo and Cristalino tequila styles. Juan continues to be a front runner in tequila innovation. Our two founders’ craft, care and passion are part of every bottle – from the beautiful design to the delicious liquid.

INTRODUCING TEQUILA AT ITS FINEST

Our Reposado Cristalino is a one-of-a-kind, complex and smooth tequila. Crafted from hand-selected piñas which are harvested at peak maturity from our family farms and then roasted in traditional stone ovens. Aged for months in Eastern European oak barrels and finished in California Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks. Then, as a final step, the tequila is slow-filtered to create a rich, complex and ultra-smooth crystal-clear Cristalino tequila that you will love drinking.

Gran Coramino Cristalino is so good that it can be enjoyed by itself. The liquid’s sweet and spicy flavors make for a complex pour. Take in the aromas of oak and cooked agave and savor the taste of vanilla bean, toffee, dark berries, and light spice. Add rocks for greater refreshment, or other ingredients if you have a particular taste in mind. We have a few recommendations.

Aged for a minimum of two months in French oak barrels to give it a light oakiness, Rooster Rojo reposado tequila is one of Mexico’s finest tequilas, enjoyed alone or as a mixer.

Rooster Rojo Añejo is our premium tequila, aged for at least one year in used bourbon barrels using 100% blue agave to give it its pronounced richness and exceptional smoothness for those with discerning taste.

The name Añejo roughly translates to mean ‘aged’ or ‘vintage’ which means that tequila Añejo is silver tequila that has been left to mature from between one to three years.

THE LOST ART OF TEQUILA MAKING

CAZCANES WATER
Cazcanes sources natural artesian water for our tequila. The water starts off as rain or snow high up on the pristine peaks of the San Pedro de los Landeros mountains. It slowly travels through natural minerals deep within the volcanic mountains before emerging at the Navichi springs.

NATURAL YEAST FERMENTATION
The ‘piñas’ are then cooked, and crushed to extract and concentrate their flavors.  Next comes fermentation using natural, wild yeast, and then distillation in our alembic stills.

CAZCANES AGAVE
Hand-selected Weber Blue Lowland (Tequila Valley) Agave grown in Volcanic Tufa Soil at 4000-6000 ft is harvested during peak sugar levels to deliver a distinct Cazcanes taste.

Our traditional Añejo is expressive of rich maple and caramel but never cloying, as dried herbs and pineapple cream soda keep things vibrant, all tied together with a lingering note of black pepper.

The first of the tequilas in our line-up is the Blanco. Blanco translates to “white”, referring to water-like translucency, but do not confuse it with water! A new take on a classic, our subtly herbal Blanco is filtered three times to reveal hints of Vanilla. Agave layers dominate the first sip and finishes in a creamy completion.

You will notice gentle spices with an explosive rich, mild, green heat and our signature smooth finish. This tequila is outrageously silky - no burn here. Perfect for new exploration and adventure.

The story of G4 Tequila started in 1937 when the Camarena family first started making tequila. The Jalisco Highlands in Mexico are the tequila capital of the world and the name Camarena counts among the most illustrious in the spirit's rich history. After working with his brother Carlos for years, the fourth-generation tequilero (G4) Felipe Camarena decided to open his own distillery in 2011 and the Destilera El Pandillo was born. Named after his grandfather's favorite bull, the distillery proudly displays the old tahona stone from the family distillery that burnt down during the Mexican Revolution before it even became operational. G4 takes pride in taking things slow and respecting the land and tradition. They grow their own agaves without using any chemicals, and they are never harvested before fully ripening. They are cooked in traditional stone ovens for 22 hours, after which the remains are converted into fertilizer. Copper-pot stills are used for the first and second fermentation and many details in the production process ensure power efficiency. They have also strived to use solar and wind power, as well as harvesting rainwater. As all their tequila, the G4 Tequila Blanco expression is made from 50% spring water and 50% harvested rainwater and bottled at 80 proof. "Im not in the business of making fancy bottles. Im in the business of making great tequila," says Felipe of their spirits and this unaged version shows it with a smooth agave-forward profile that is as crisp as it is complex.

Aged 6 months in whiskey barrels, this tequila has an aroma of fresh lime & honey, a taste of white pepper & butterscotch, and finishes with smooth pepper spice and agave sweetness.

Aged 12 months in whiskey barrels, this golden tanned tequila has an aroma of tropical notes, a flavor of rich vanilla and caramel apple, with a nuanced, smooth chocolate kick to finish.

With an aroma of stone fruit, baking spices and rich “terra frima”, this dry, earthy, citrus-tinged tequila is finished with hints of smooth black pepper.
