Dickel Bourbon is a handcrafted, small-batch bourbon that's been aged 8 years and blended to perfection. The liquid boasts sweet initial notes of vanilla leading into bright hints of cherry and orange before being balanced by almond toffee and oak. At 90 proof, bourbon enthusiasts can best enjoy Dickel Bourbon neat or on the rocks, in addition to mixing it into some of their favorite cocktails, like an Old Fashioned.

Maker Notes

This one changed the way we think of bourbon, all because one man changed the way he thought about making it. Bill Samuels, Sr., simply wanted a whisky he would enjoy drinking. Never bitter or sharp, Maker's Mark is made with soft red winter wheat, instead of the usual rye, for a one-of-a-kind, full-flavored bourbon that's easy to drink. To ensure consistency, we rotate every barrel by hand and age our bourbon to taste, not time. Each and every bottle of Maker's^® is still hand-dipped in our signature red wax at our distillery in Loretto, Ky., just like Bill, Sr., would have wanted.

Barrell Bourbon Batch 030 began with a group of tropical fruit forward 5-year-old Indiana barrels, a group of stone fruit forward 10-year-old high-rye Tennessee barrels, and a group of nutty 6, 9, 11, and 15-year-old barrels. After mingling separately for a month, they were carefully blended together. Finally, wheated bourbon from Kentucky and Wyoming was added to enhance the complexity of the blend.

Blended Bourbon Whiskey

The Three Chord flagship small batch is bottled at an easy-drinking 81 proof, featuring up to 12 year old whiskys from Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee to create a smooth, aromatic and versatile bourbon whiskey.

Our secondary, controlled, wood-charring process reintroduces compounds to create its maple syrup, caramel, and vanilla character. Integrating the additional toasted White American Oak staves brings depth of flavor and a hint of smokiness. We bottle our 100% blended bourbon 250 gallons at a time for a consistent flavor profile and quality taste. 

MASH BILL: 73%Corn / 20% Rye / 7% Malted Barley. We are considered a medium-high rye bourbon.

Over the past several years, Barrell Dovetail has become a highly regarded expression within our portfolio of products and the American Whiskey world. Recently, we became intrigued with applying the concept of “Dovetail” to some of our older stocks. The result is BCS Gray Label Dovetail, which still boasts our award-winning blend of Whiskey finished in rum, port, and Dunn Vineyards cabernet barrels and uses the same finishing and blending method. The difference, as with all our Gray Label offerings, is that we used older and more rare barrels in Gray Label Dovetail. The result harmoniously unites a dark and fruity California cabernet finish, a jammy and pleasurable port finish, and a sweet and funky rum finish to create a well-balanced, iconic whiskey. The component whiskeys are aged up to 20 years, making the final blend significantly more elegant.

An ester-forward bourbon with the brooding depth of cabernet and port casks. The varied distillates and casks come together into a complex palate that showcases the cola notes of whiskey that’s spent many years in oak.​

Appearance: Warm Amber.

Nose: Green grape, tart apple, and pollen lead into one very vivid note of just-pressed cider. The notes of gooseberry jam, cranberry sauce, and dried apricot are pronounced and defined. Maple walnut ice cream, tahini, and leather provide a subtle, savory undertone.

Palate: Robust and impeccably balanced, with flavors ranging from strawberry rhubarb pie to fennel pollen. Flan and coconut oil provide a rich and creamy texture that balances some light sandy tannin and modest astringency. Depth seems to come mostly from the oldest Canadian whiskeys, in the form of fennel, poppy seed and peppercorn. Allspice, ginger, and cola notes from the French and American oak round it out.

Finish: A burst of licorice candy and molasses gives way to
Earl Grey Tea with honey. The palate is left with a range of dusty mineral notes, among them necco wafers, oyster shell, and squid ink.

With a splash of spring water: Classical notes of crème brulée and funnel cake take the lead. The complexity here is more savory, with shiso, tomato, and tajin. An unexpected burst of lychee on the finish yields to charcoal and paraffin.

Legendary Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell use over 100 years of combined experience to create this thoughtfully crafted expression. Each bottle of Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Old is aged for a minimum of 13 years, reaching an ABV of 57.4% and promising a distinctive, rich, warm flavor best enjoyed right out of the bottle.

AROMA: Lots of aged character. Sweet and woody with notes of dark dried fruit like cherry or plum and confectionary notes of honey, chocolate, caramel, nougat and brown sugar throughout.

TASTE: Sweet and warming. Dried dark fruit notes complete with charred confectionary notes of charred marshmallow or burnt brown sugar. Smoky campfire notes enhance the finish on the palate.

FINISH: Warming, long and lingering, this finish does not give up

Trey decided to offer Jefferson’s Reserve, our most quintessential bourbon in the portfolio, at a higher proof to satisfy the thirst of a bigger more robust Reserve offering. This expression enhances the flavors without being too strong. The single barrel allows the Jefferson’s Reserve flavors to be amplified at the enhanced proof. Jefferson’s Reserve at 100 proof hits the apex of flavors extracted, without burying the secondary elements.

Big flavors have always been the cornerstone of our prized Texas Whiskies, and Texas Pot Still Bourbon is no exception. Made grain-to-glass using a traditional pot still distillation ensures a rich and viscous spirit that stands up to aging in new charred oak without losing its essence. Resilient straight bourbon whisky barrels are hand picked single barrels of quality. We are looking for barrels that are well balanced with grain and wood. Barrels that really shine and bring some great flavors to the nose and palate. We enjoy finding these barrels, bottling them up and bringing them forward to our friends and community of whisky enthusiasts.

Resilient Bottled in Bond barrels are hand selected and bottled up in very small batches of maybe four barrels at a time. The High Rye mash bill 60/36/4 from MGP has a complexity to it, an extra dimension of depth that brings a viscosity to the mouth feel and wide range of flavors to the pallet.

Being bottled at 100 Proof is such an enjoyable level for this bourbon.

Aged 4 Years, this bourbon is sourced from the OZ Tyler/Green River Distillery in Kentucky where it spent the first 3.75 years of its life maturing into the full bodied Bourbon that drew us to this particular production run. Dark Amber in color, you will find salted caramel, baked pears or apples on the nose. The palate provides classic bourbon profile with honey, vanilla, and toasted oak present in each sip. The long finish is where this magic happens and tasting experience completes itself with a nice Kentucky Hug!

4 Grain Bourbon finished with a charred American Oak spire

Batch 11 continues the celebrated lineage of barrel proof whiskies that rose Kentucky Owl to fame. Batch 11 opens your eyes with notes of bright citrus, velvety dark chocolate, and sticky toffee. The palate is a welcome mélange of mature oak, allspice, honeyed bread, and deep cinnamon. The finish is long with toasted oak, sultana, peppercorn, and fresh thyme.

One barrel. Depending upon the unknowns of the Big Horn Basin summer heat, the cold of the Wyoming winter and the appetite of angels, yields about 220 bottles.

Willett Family Estate 19 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon #1582 111.8 Proof

Kentucky Bourbon Distillers are the owners of the Willett distillery in Bardstown. Willett distillery was built in 1936, just a few years after the repeal of National Prohibition by Lambert Willett, a former distiller for Max Selliger & Co. The distillery was initially a success, principally through its Old Bardstown and Johnny Drum brands, however it was hit hard by the bourbon slump of the 1970s. The result was an ill-advised move into producing ethanol for the production of "gasohol," spurred by the 1979 energy crises. When that market re-stabilised, Willett was left floundering and eventually closed in the early 1980s. Lambert's granddaughter, Martha Willett and her husband, Even Kulsveen, then purchased the distillery and established Kentucky Bourbon Distillers in 1984. They originally bottled the remaining barrels of 1970s-distilled stock, however as that gradually diminished, they began sourcing barrels from other producers in order to replenish it, becoming one of the most important independent bottlers in Kentucky. The majority of their barrels were believed to have come from neighbouring Heaven Hill, and with these casks they developed a wealth of important brands, including the Willett Family Estate, Noah's Mill and Rowan's Creek. In addition, they contract-bottled brands for other companies, such as the Very Olde St Nick and Black Maple Hill brands. Revered for the quality of their whiskey, their products have become some of the most collectible to come out of Kentucky.

The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey. Breckenridge Bourbon is one of the most highly awarded crafted bourbons; 4x winner of Best American Blended (2016, 17, 18, and 2019) from the World Whiskies Awards and Bourbon of the Year in 2011 at the Int’l Wine & Spirits Competition, and 2019 Colorado Distillery of the Year at the New York Int’l Spirits Competition. In 2018, Breckenridge Distillery won the coveted Icons of Whisky for Brand Innovator of the Year.

Since coming online in 2008 and releasing its first vodka and bourbon three years later, Breckenridge Distillery has quickly become an award-winning producer of fine spirits, being designated one of the top three bourbons in the U.S. How it all came to be, however, stems from a mix of just the right ingredients, a hint of luck and a deep love for quality whiskey.

“Philosophically for me, quality is the only thing that matters,” says Nolt. “If you want to have quality in whiskey, there’s so much heritage that you just can’t ignore.”

Our award-winning Breckenridge Bourbon marinated in Madeira casks; rich in flavor, without an overpowering sweetness. Maraschino cherry with notes of plum tease the palette, flavors of smoked cherrywood and leather are quickly to follow. Finishing with a hint of Baker’s chocolate, this will quickly become a go-to delight.

Barrell Bourbon Batch 031 is a blend of 6, 7, 10, 15 and 16-year-old barrels. The blend was built around the sweetness in a group of 99% corn bourbon barrels and a group of wheated bourbon barrels. To bridge these two groupings, we layered in 15 and 16-year-old barrels for their gentle nuttiness and oak. Finally, a selection of 10-year-old barrels was added to bring notes of milk chocolate and tropical fruit.

Rye rediscovered, this one is a little bit dry and a little bit spicy, a little bit of Indiana, and a whole lot of maritime Alaska!

For your discovering pleasure, we submit Wrack Line Rye. With a mash bill of 70 percent rye grain, Wrack Line Rye has enough rye character and spice to announce its presence, yet is balanced enough to play well with others in a cocktail. It starts with our small batch
