As great whiskey makers throughout the world from Kentucky to Scotland have long known, it takes sweet water from tough rock to make great whiskey. And, that's what Widow Jane is all about. Our whiskeys are proofed with pure limestone mineral water from the Legendary Rosendale Mines of NY, just 100 miles north of our home in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The Vaults is a limited release of our rarest & oldest bourbons. The whiskey was finished in casks from the Adirondacks in New York, where we found forty two months air seasoned white oak, fire bent and thoughtfully toasted, charred and raised into barrels, resulting in truly New York finish.

Inspired by the memories, feelings and flavours of his many visits to Tokyo and a desire to experiment with rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks for the first time, Dr Bill has created a limited edition expression characterised by enchanting opposites.

COMBINING BRIGHT, BOLD FLAVOURS WITH SOFT SWEETNESS

Dr Bill united Glenmorangie part-aged in Mizunara oak with whisky that had spent time in both sherry and bourbon casks, for a unique limited-edition that’s perfectly balanced with Glenmorangie’s house-style. The whisky fuses notes of pepper with bitter cherries and mouth-watering orange zest with incense and sweet oak.

This particular Canadian whiskey is currently exclusive to the German market. It comprises a blend of 10-12% rye whiskey mixed with a base whiskey that has undergone a minimum ten-year maturation in used Canadian, ex-bourbon, and new white oak barrels. Distilled in Canada and aged for a minimum of three years, Canadian whiskies often, though not always, consist of separate distillation and maturation of corn, barley, and rye components. The cask types involved include Canadian, ex-bourbon, and new white oak. As for the tasting experience, expect to encounter notes of almond, caramel toffee, orange, and dusty oak, which lead to a palate featuring nuttiness, vanilla, rye spice, and more caramel. Despite its robust flavor profile, the whiskey maintains a gentle side, effectively balancing the flavors for a peppery finish marked by J.P. Wiser's signature touch of orange pith.

This Single Barrel is bottled at 96.77 proof, a nod to Valtteri Bottas’ racing number, 77, and the precision of racing. Inspired by Zhou Guanyu, the first Chinese F1 driver, this Rye Whiskey is finished with lychee and oolong tea.
